When in doubt, emerge. When you feel vulnerable and want to hide, be counterintuitive and step up to step through and emerge!  Your courage is calling.

We have learned - been conditioned - to be fearful. Everything can throw us into a fear state, if we allow it. Instead, ask yourself questions like:

    • Is this something that will truly harm me?
    • Is this something someone else has taught me to fear?
    • Is this fearful thing a true part of my reality or is it something I have blown out of proportion and made fearful?
    • What if, instead, I face it and see it for what it truly is?
    • What if, instead, I call it out and learn to identify it differently?
    • What can I do to turn down the volume of the fear and look, hear, and feel this differently?
    • What if I focus on looking for the gift this is bringing to me? What is it?
    • What if I choose to look at this through the lens of love? What will I see?

Learn a different way. Inform and educate yourself. Be curious. There is nothing in this life that needs to be feared.

You are a supremely and intrinsically divine being of light and love. There is nothing to fear. Remember to breathe. Relax. Be grateful.

Emerge. Be courageous. Be curious. Be love.

Self-punishment is unnecessary and optional, yet so many continue to believe it is a requirement.

One of the greatest ways we punish ourselves is by dwelling on the past. When you do this, you have room in your life only for this dwelling. Instead, understand that the past never goes away. It is continually being made over and over again as the present and the future beckon.

The future and the past exist in the present. The future is constantly being imagined and pulls us into uncertainty. The pivot point for both the past and the future is the present.

The present is where every thought you have influences every emotion, decision, and action you take. It is the reason so many are focused on getting your mindset sorted so you can effectively and beneficially influence all of your life, holistically.

We are energetic beings. We place great emphasis on the man-made construct of time. Yet, as energetic beings, time is irrelevant.

Stop dwelling on the past. The lessons you need to learn will revisit you in the future - they will simply look, sound, and be a little different. You know that in order to really hear or have an 'aha!' moment takes many times of being exposed to the same message in different guises. So, the lessons you may have missed the first time around will present themselves to you again and again in different guises until you finally 'get' them.

Stop punishing yourself. There is nothing that says you have to berate and denigrate yourself for every perceived mistake you make. There are no mistakes. These are simply ways to inform us and help us choose differently at a later time. They redirect us and help us reflect - briefly - on other options and opportunities.

Celebrate yourself instead! You are pure divine energy visiting this third rock from the Sun to experience and expand your experience of every facet of life. Soak it all in! Enjoy every moment - the good and the bad, the happy and sad, the hard and easy. You are phenomenal!

The state of decay is ever present. We take decaying material to create new things. From clay come a beautiful sculpture, for example.

We are called to be good stewards of our resources and this includes our own self. From the moment we enter this world, we begin to decay. Renewal means that something must be let loose because it is no longer useful so something else can come from its carcass. Think of this in terms of yourself.

We have to mitigate our decay rate all the time. 'But how do we do this?' I hear you ask. I don't know. I do know that we can do everything possible to stay as healthy as possible for as long as possible by providing ourselves with what we need to do this.

    Physical + mental + emotional + spiritual + energetic = Holistic

We are comprised of so many different ways to be that it can be mindboggling. We are response able for our wellness and wellbeing.

What does this mean to you? What does this look like, smell like, taste like, feel like, and sound like to you?

There are many ways that you can move towards a more holistic way of being. One of the ways that most begin is to pay attention. Become more aware of your surroundings and your place within your environment.

Start seeing, smelling, and feeling more than you currently do. Notice your breath. Track your breath as it enters your body - inhale - and exits your body - exhale.

Pay attention to what appears in your environment. It is there for you. Appreciate that everything currently within your consciousness is there for you - to teach you, to help you, to bring you joy and wonder.

The more you appreciate and fully immerse in paying attention to yourself and what surrounds you, the more holistically aware you become and the more you experience and witness the way you are supported and loved.

Go ahead... make this a practice. You can take it and do this anywhere at anytime. It's a beautiful gift to give yourself.

Adaptation is necessary. It is part of our every day. Every decision we make requires an adjustment - to begin, to end, to add, to release, to accept, and to surrender.

If you're making any change, regardless of size, you are adapting to your changing circumstances and situation and adjusting beliefs, values, skills, emotions, finances, and your wellbeing to support the change.

The great thing about all of this is that it is something everyone does from the moment they are thought about, conceived, and enter this world. You are well-practiced at adaptation.

Refusing to adapt is a painful process. It conflicts with your natural state. There are so many treasures and gifts to be found through the process of adaptation that will evade you if you refuse.

Through adaptation we grow and evolve. We develop and innovate ideas. We create solutions and new problems to overcome. What do you need to adapt to today? What are you creating and innovating? In what way will you allow yourself to grow and evolve? It's all up to you.

The essence of self-care lies in the knowledge that we need to care for ourselves first if we are to ever be able to care fully for the wellbeing of others. No one else knows what we need.

Fundamentally, we need to nourish, exercise, and rest ourselves so we can give of ourselves in service and contribution to others.

Do you nourish, exercise, and rest your mind, body, and soul sufficiently? If you find yourself irritable and short-tempered at any time during your day, examine your self-care practice. Say 'no' more to non-essential things and say 'yes' more often to you.

Read, solve puzzles or ponder the problems of the world to come up with innovative solutions to exercise your mind and your spirit. Be creative and exercise your body through movement and resistance training.

Feed yourself the best possible food, drink, information, relationships, and mindful practices to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

Rest your mind, body, and spirit through good sleeping practices, walking in nature, good hygiene practices, and mindfulness.

Take time for you. You are the only one who can. Breathe. Relax. Be grateful.

Find your voice in whatever way you can. This is more than speaking or singing. This is writing, dancing, painting, walking, gardening, running, sculpting, cooking, baking, beading, jewelry making, calligraphy, designing, cleaning, organizing, sewing, tailoring, recycling, upcycling, building... in whatever way you can creatively express yourself.

Once you find your voice, it's important to use it. Keep it strong. Let it loose. Exercise it. Stifling or hiding it will only diminish it and over time it will lose its potency.

In what way do you express yourself creatively? In what way do you use it? Take some time to reflect upon the many voices you've had over the years. Perhaps resurrecting a creative endeavor will begin to sound inviting and amplify your voice even more. Begin today.

...part of something more than you are on your own is often understated and underrated. Is it important? You bet!

Being part of a group helps you in many ways.

    1. It will help you learn and finesse your rapport, conflict, and relationship skills.
    2. If you need inspiration, ideas, or a lift, a group will help you with this.
    3. Members in groups can find another member who is willing to listen and just be quiet as you process your thoughts and emotions.
    4. In a virtual group, you will connect with other members from all over the globe.
    5. Members bring their unique experience and perspective to the rest of the group. This is so valuable as it allows us to expand our understanding in many ways.

If you've wanted to be part of a group of people willing to uplift, support, and be there for you and you want to do the same for others, then please do come on and join us. We're just getting started and there will be so much more to come as we grow and evolve. Together, we can make a difference.

If not this group, think about joining another group that can provide you the level of support you need and where you can contribute and support others, too. Much love!

Take a chance on your dreams. In whatever way, it seems impossible becomes probable and then possible. If your world is crashing around you, take a chance on you. Look for the helpers. They are there. This is a push me-pull me time of crashing through the barriers of fear and discomfort and putting your feet on the ground of your dreams. Begin at the beginning. Take steps towards unfolding your potential. Step boldly and courageously into your future you.

I know to take a chance on your dream is scary and full of angst. Dreams are, for the most part, quite ephemeral and diffuse. The dream you hold near and dear to you is different. It is rooted deep in your heart and is part of who you are. Go ahead! Now is the time to breathe life into it. Let it grow, flourish, and thrive. Release it and sing the song of its unfolding. Take heart! Have courage. Be bold!

Attend to your grief. We are all grieving... something. It doesn't matter what or whom. Our grief is real and palpable and personal to us.

This may be a very raw and tender time for you. If it is, please be gentle with yourself. You may have suffered over the past few months more than in the past few years. Take heart. Have courage.

I encourage and invite you to attend to your grief. Allow it. Feel it. Acknowledge it. Take action from it. Write about it. Garden. Shower. Sleep. Walk. Run. Scream into a pillow. Cry. Do what you must to attend to it.

If you leave it, it will fester into anger, despair, depression, or melancholy. Instead, harness it and employ it for something meaningful and resourceful. Raise awareness around it. Write a book. Begin a movement. Be proactive. Attend to your grief.  Release it. Live again.

Above all... be gentle with yourself. Take heart. Have courage. Much love!
