Whenever you change something physically or mentally, you set yourself up for a crisis of integration. Some call this a healing crisis. In fact, it is the point of integration, the tipping point, the choice point of acceptance.
Humans love a good crisis. If it is unexpected, it is more dramatic and traumatic and can be used as a great excuse or talking point for years!
However, when you go through your days deliberately and make changes intentionally, you can prepare well ahead of time for it. It will still happen. You can get through it with ease and grace and spend less time in withdrawal once you know to anticipate it. I’ll share more about this in my next post.
