If you are in a job or business or even doing a project to prove yourself, rethink it. Do it for a bigger reason.

When we set our sights on proving ourselves, and we achieve whatever it is we have our sights on, it is followed by a huge void of emptiness. Typically, this is followed by inaction and stagnation. The reason is because while we set ourselves up with our expectations that once we prove ourselves all will be great; inevitably, we find that everything has pretty much stayed the same. Create in the energy of expansion instead.

What does this mean? It means that if we do all things in the energy of service and contribution to ourselves and to the greater good, this will sustain us and keep us moving forward. Get out of your own way (GOOYOW!) and make way for a more expansive perspective. There is no need to down tools and come to a grinding halt. Instead, rethink your position and adjust it. Do it for a bigger reason.

  1. Yes, I can see that the bigger reason makes the energy much more sustainable over time. I’ll have to think about that “proving yourself” thing again. I thought I’d given it up, but it may be creeping back in . . .

    1. It’s always a great thing to periodically check, Joanne. Self-reflection on the motives behind what you are doing will help you ferret them out. Much love! 💖✨🙏
