Your thoughts are disruptive and to manage them you must master your thoughts. I know you may think it is impossible. Let me encourage you.
Mastering your thoughts only requires a commitment to love yourself enough that you begin to consciously select the thoughts you want to carry forward into your reality. For example, you may create too much on your plate for the day or too many things that have to be done by tomorrow. When you master your thoughts, you acknowledge 1) that you created this; 2) that you can change this; 3) that while this may stir up the emotions of anxiety or fear, you can choose differently; and 4) decide what you want to think and create that instead.
If I have too much on my plate or have too many things that have to done by tomorrow, I look at 1) what is the priority; 2) what do I choose to feel as I decide which item I will accomplish first; 3) know that all it takes is to begin one step for one thing and momentum will carry me to completion; 4) turn my anxiety or fear to excitement at the adventure of creating a difference.
Before you begin this conscious disruption of your disruptive thoughts, immerse in a moment of stillness. Take a few breaths and follow them as you inhale and exhale. Slow down your pace. When you allow yourself to do this, you will find that you are supported in unseen ways and you will accomplish everything with ease and grace. If needed, do this at any time during your day. It will change everything for you.
