Well… what IS your mood? Whatever it is, know that it is changeable and temporary. Give yourself a reprieve from the self-punishment that comes with a foul mood. Instead, give yourself permission to lighten up. Your mood matters.
I confess, there are days when I cannot seem to shake a foul mood. Usually, it is because I continue to get pressure from external things that triggers my mood even more. I understand that. I also understand that, in order to shift my mood, it requires self-awareness and discipline. It is my response-ability. I remove myself from the triggers, acknowledge and recognize them, feel them, love them, and release them. This is usually followed by a nap. When I wake, I am more balanced and peaceful.
